Publisher's dark green buckram with gilt title on the spine. = A fine monograph of the most important crocodilian of North America and its nearest relatives, by the American herpetologist and Darwinist Albert Moore Reese (1872-1965). A very uncommon well-preserved, clean copy, thus without the usual ex-library markings. Spine gilt faded, but otherwise a near fine copy. Adler III, pp. 191-192.
