2 vols., 8vo., First Edition, on laid paper, with fine portrait frontispieces in photogravure (original tissue guards present), titles in red and black, 5 portraits and 6 facsimiles (a number folding); original blue cloth, boards with blind frame border, gilt backs, uncut, a very good, bright, clean copy. Sold from an institution with its bookplate on front paste-downs and small blind stamp on titles. Complete with separately printed errata slips. Vol. I: 1734-1740; Vol. II: 1741-1771.
