Price clipped dust jacket not marked with small nick to lower front corner and a little fading to spine. 150pp. Beginning with a general discussion on the origins of the cowboy and their lives in America, the book goes on to give biographical details of sixy-one cowboys whose work and lives most helped develop and sustain the West, pushing the American nation westward to the Pacific and south to the Rio Grande.
