Later dark green cloth with gilt number on the spine and gilt library name in the front board lower margin. Original printed front wrapper bound in. = Included is a note by Roderick Murchison. The appendix, by Salter, contains descriptions and illustrations of botanical specimens. Invertebrates are merely listed. This is number 33. Scotland, of the Memoirs of the geological survey of Great Britain and of the Museum of Practical Geology. This descriptive work was issued separately from the maps, and these are not included. Pictorial library bookplate on the front paste-down, perforating stamp on the title page, small repair to front wrapper edges, otherwise a good copy. Rare.
