8vo., Second Edition; blue cloth, gilt back, a very good, clean copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter lightly frayed at edges and with loss at backstrip (obscuring author's name). Heavily revised version of the first edition of 1933. The first edition to carry the author's name, and with the third [and final] the text. In an unpublished note Williamson says 'I have rewritten the Revised Edition; it is the best so far, with new scenes to replace much of the 'old acid' of Manfred (and his appalling rudeness to his wife in the early Chapters)'.
