Republisher's red cloth with gilt title on the front board and spine. = The 1972 reprint, which differs chiefly in having an additional portrait of the author, a biography, a bibliography - by Lucille McCain -, and a drawing of the author, the American zoologist Waldo LaSalle Schmitt (1887-1977). Excellent for identifications. Slight discolouring to the front board; otherwise a clean, "as new" copy.
