8vo., neat signature on front free endpaper, endpapers very lightly browned; original series binding of green cloth, upper board and backstrip blocked and lettered in gilt, gilt top, uncut, a very good, bright, clean copy. With 18pp publisher's catalogue at end. With a single-page guide to St. Mary Selborne loosely inserted. This edition, published in the 'Scott Library', omits the 'Antiquities'. Jefferies' preface, his only lengthy appraisal of another author, mistakenly places Selborne in the county of Surrey. Martin, p. 166; Miller & Matthews B25.2.
