12mo., New Edition, with an engraved frontispiece, engraved and printed titles, 8 steel-engraved plates and an engraved folding map, some negligible age-staining; original ribbed red pictorial cloth, upper board elaborately blocked in gilt, back with five flat bands, second compartment lettered in gilt, red sprinkled edges, lemon endpapers, very neatly recased with original endpapers, a remarkably well-preserved, bright, crisp copy.
