A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked green leatherette boards, some foxing to page edges and a tiny bump to lower rear corner. 319pp. Set in 1945 when two groups of people try to find safe refuge - the Jews who escaped the concentration camps and the SS guards who had run them. Disasters, hairbreadth escapes, sudden confrontations and changes of plan lead to a final dramatic climax.
