Second Edition, revised, corrected, and enlarged, no half-title, iv, 76pp., modern paper wrappers. Sheridan was conspicuous in the proceedings against Warren Hastings. He had attended the committee which examined witnesses whose evidence was used to bring impeachment charges. In this speech, which lasted for over five hours, he had to obtain the assent of the house to the one relating to the princesses of Oude.
