This volume ? dating back to the first half of the 17th century and attributed to historian Costantino Gigli ? entered the English royal collection in 1762. It mainly collects pictures of monuments going from the 13th to the 15th century, many of which have gone lost, that belong to ages and typologies neglected at that time.
