Dedicated by the author on the front cover to Chevallier Jean Baptiste - or Giovanni Battista - Vérany (1800-1865) in Nice. Separately paginated offprint with wide margins. A few small spots to the text and some plates, mostly marginal. Otherwise a very good copy. Rare. DSB IX, pp. 567-574.
