ONE OF ONLY 7 COPIES ON JAPANESE PAPER OF THE FIRST AND ONLY EDITION of this rare monograph on Huysmans, the most important work of budding superstar littérateur Du Fresnois (1887-1914), who met his untimely death only two years later at the age of 27, at the outset of World War I. 61 pp. ONE OF ONLY SEVEN (7) COPIES PRINTED ON IMPERIAL JAPANESE PAPER. On the half-title is a neatly-written manuscript note in the hand of the publisher, Louis Dorbon (i.e., "Dorbon aîné"): "exemplaire nº 3 sur 7 s/Japon L.D." 12mo. Publisher's wraps. Entirely uncut.
