The Utrecht Psalter 166 fantastic miniatures from the Carolinian royal court school Utrecht, Bibliotheek der Rijksuniversiteit, Hs. 32, Hautvilliers, between 820 and 840 CODICES SELECTI, Vol. LXXV The manuscript dates from 820-840, Hautvillers. Facsimile: Graz 1982. Complete colour facsimile edition of the 222?pp. (111 fol.) and of the first inner end paper in original size (330 x 256?mm). The manuscript comprises the complete psalter on 184?pp., evangelic fragments on 24?pp. and 14?end papers. The manuscript contains 166 pen-and-ink drawings at the beginning of the 150 psalms and of the 16 canticles. All folios are cut according to the original. Binding: The all leather binding is a faithful replica of the original binding which was made for Sir Robert Cotton in 1600. Scholarly commentary: K. van der Horst, Utrecht, revised by J.
