Several in original slipcases. = A very important reprint series of mostly rare or even unique early descriptions and observations on Egypt by authors such as Felix Fabri in 1483, Belon du Mans in 1547, Prosper Alpin in 1581-1584 (three volumes), Jean Coppin in 1638-1640, C. Harant in 1598, G. Bremond in 1643-1645, de Monconys in 1646-1647, A. Gonzales in 1665-1666, E. Brown in 1673-1674, etc. Each with a special, new preface. This is an uninterrupted set, from the start in 1969. Many early volumes are out of print. This series was continued to vol. 25 (1995). A very good, clean and unmarked set; partly still preserved in original shrink-wrappers.
