Descripción
Trampe, Halle, 1757-1764. Folio-size loose nature printing (36.1 x 22.5 cm). Well preserved nature printing with additional hand-colouring and printed caption. = A rare, early example of nature printing. This print, of a fern, in a rather good condition. The large, Dutch watermark is clearly visible. Occasional spotting. Small hole in left hand lower section and five tiny holes in left hand section. Bit frayed and chipped at right hand side top corner (small part missing). The figure is large, almost touching the right margin and a bit faded there. Right hand side has some small, short tears. A nice copy, though. Fischer Zweihundert Jahre Naturselbstdruck, 7; Stafleu and Cowan, 3763.
