No marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards, slight foxing to top of page edges and no bumping to corners. Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn or creased with slight rubbing to upper corners and minor traces of storage. 164pp. The author provides a detailed study of the evolution of each Atlantic design, the variations which were made in later experiments, details of outstanding performance by each 4-4-2 type and tables of their numbers, building dates and leading dimensions.
