This is a fine hardcover copy in a near fine dust jacket with almost no wear. Completely clean inside and out. The first substantial monograph on Brodovitch and still the essential reference. Alexey Brodovitch (1898-1971) was one of the most talented art directors ever. After a precocious start in Paris in the 1920's, he was recruited to be the art director of Harpers Bazaar. He stayed there from 1934 through 1958. Chronology. Bibliography. Illustrated in color and black & white. 340 illustrations, including 70 in color. 12" high X 9" wide, 159 pages.
