Boards a bit darkened/discolored and with light edgewear (the original color of the boards was turquoise). Former owner's name on front free endpaper and page facing half-title page. Hinges a bit gapping but still holding strong. The slightest browning to the pages and a bit more on the edges (due to the war-related paper supply that contained more pulp) . ; Including the outstanding photogravures and a VG+ map with minor browning in the rear pocket.
