Descripción
143x90 mm. 36 pp. Blue printed wrappers (minor losses to spine). Text in Hebrew, with Latin preface. A very good copy. Provenance: on the front flyleaf manuscript dedication: “Illm Jenks. From his much reputed friend Miss Hannah Adams. Feb. 14. 1822”. Hannah Adams (1755-1831) was an American author of books on comparative religion and early United States history. She is believed to have been the first woman in the U.S. to work as a professional writer. The dedicatee could probably be identified with Francis Jenks of the Harvard Library.
