Printed paperback. = Published in the academy's Verhandelingen. A price-winning essay. Written in Dutch, with English summary. The author is a Belgian geologist and physical geographer. Provenance: with in the title page top margin a handwritten signed dedication by the author to the Dutch geologist Prof. A J. Wiggers (1921-1990). A few pencilled underlinings, probably by Wiggers. Otherwise a very good, clean copy.
