Lisbonne, Académie royale des Sciences, [1904]-1905. Very large 4to (32.8 x 25.2 cm). 168 pp.; 30 phototype plates with explanatory text leaves. Original printed wrappers. = A rare and important monograph with new species. The main work is by the Swiss palaeontologist Frédéric Louis Koby (1852-1930); the Notice stratigraphique is by Choffat, who also published on the cephalopods, brachiopods and bivalves of this fauna. The plate figures are excellent photographs. Uncut. Old, tiny library stamp and label on the front wrapper, wrappers brittle, detached and chipped at edges due to the lower paper quality; binding broken due to the hevy book block. Otherwise a very good, clean copy.
