Three titles to the Encyclopédie, three titles with wood-engraved vignette, to the Géographie volumes; 2383 pp. [xix, 400; 401-776; 760; 812]; five large, multi-folded tables. Uniform original grey boards with printed paper labels on the spines. = A rare part of the Ultimate Encyclopaedia and the largest of all great Encyclopaedias and the most important work published during the French Enlightement. This section - complete in itself - written by the French geographer Nicolas Masson De Morvilliers (1740-1789). Especially rare in original, grey paper-covered boards. The spine labels are abraded, as is part of one front board; top of two spine covers frayed; 1.5 cm of the foot of one spine perished; otherwise a very good, clean and unmarked set. Schmitt, S.
