All seven booklets appear in as new condition. No marks or inscriptions. No creasing to covers. Very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards and no bumping to corners. Card slipcase very slightly creased and rubbed. Total of 316pp. A set of seven booklets on the history of food, cooking techniques and eating in Britain. They cover Prehistory, the Romans, Medieval Britain and 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. With a selection of recipes adapted to the modern kitchen. Scarce as a set.
