No marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards and no bumping to corners. Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn or rubbed or creased with very minor traces of storage. 216pp. 'Numbles' were the entrails and organs of roe deer, fed to the hunt servants whilst the nobility tucked into haunch and saddle. The name slowly became 'humble'. Stories, anecdotes and information relating to deer stalking and eating from the author's experience.
