This monograph was prepared to accompany five independent, complementary exhibitions of the work of Joachim Koester. The venues included the Institut d'Art Contemporain at Villeurbanne, France, and the List Visual Arts Center Cambridge, the Kunsthal Charlottenborg in Copenhagen, the S.M.A.K. in Ghent and the Centre d'art Contemporaine in Geneva.
