Josef Lada 1887- 1957, was one of the most imteresting illustrators in Czech Republic. He famously was the illustrator of Jaroslav Hasek's satirical novel, The Good Soldier Schweik, published 1921-23. Illustrated mainly in color. Biographical sketch. 11" high X 9" wide, 247 pages.
