Spine with gilt bands and title. = Interesting early alpine guide including also historical material such as on Bourrit, Saussure, Tyndall etc., and a fine map. Board edges a bit rubbed; some very light occasional foxing, rear inner joint starting, otherwise a very good copy. Rather rare, especially if nicely bound.
