Descripción
This is a very good hardcover copy in brown marbled paper covered boards and a red leatherette spine. Long ago released from a university reference library and bearing a bookplate and small handstamps to the margins of plates. Text by Alfred Darcel in French. Textile examples chosen by Ed. Guichard. 100 full-page plates, including 6 chromolithographs. Each plate with descriptive text. No date on title-page, but ca. 1910. No photographic plates of the pieces of furniture, just close-up detailed plates showing the decorative fabrics that cover the furniture. Massive reference work weighs 15 lbs. 19" high X 13" wide, 13 text pages + plates. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and sent with tracking.
