Clear gilt lettering/embossing to leather covers Large fold-out map/statistics at rear on linen reinforced paper in perfect condition. 24pp. Leather bound booklet published to commemmorate the opening of Rochdale's main water supply reservoir by Alderman T Elvyn Kershaw, Chairman of the Waterworks Committee in 1938. Includes description and statistics of construction, the history of Water Supply in Rochdale plus photographs and diagrams showing the construction process. Extremely scarce.
