8vo., First Edition, with engraved portrait frontispiece (original tissue guard present), title in red and black; attractively bound contemporary calf, sides with gilt frame border, back with three raised bands tooled in gilt, second and third compartments with brown leather labels lettered in gilt, gilt top, gilt doublures, marbled endpapers, asmall tear at headband, joint lightly rubbed else a remarkably well-preserved, bright, crisp copy. This volume includes letters CCLVII to CCCCIII. The frontispiece is a fine reproduction of the portrait of Henry VIII at St. Bartholomew's Hospital. It is engraved by Cook after Holbein the Younger. SCARCE.
