Signed Adam Nicolson to title page. No other marks or inscriptions. No creasing to covers or to spine. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards and with minor bumping to upper front and lower rear corners. 281pp. An account of Jacobean England and the making of the King James Bible.which took place between 1604 and 1611. Little is known about the men who did this monumental translation but all the available knowledge is set out here by the author, as are the stories of others involved including King James.
