Spine with red morocco label with gilt title and gilt stippled lines. = Written by the French geologist Gabriel Auguste Daubrée (1814-1896) and dealing, e.g., with meteorites. With a handwritten dedication by the author to the French mineralogist and petrologist, Auguste Michel-Lévy, (1844-1911), one of the pioneers of microscopic geology and petrology. Two old library stamps on the front wrapper, one on the last text leaf, otherwise very good, clean. Ward and Carozzi, 604.
