No marks or inscriptions to contents. No creasing to covers or to spine. Very clean very tight pages with slightly rubbed unmarked red leather boards, tanning to end papers, small piece missing from spine top, clear gilt lettering to rubbed spine and no bumping to corners. Top edge gilt, other edges slightly tanned/dusty. All pages very slightly wavy. Tissue-guarded facing frontispiece and facing image of Admiral HJ Rous. 422pp. Written by sporting journalist The Druid about farm flocks and herds and horse racing, the hunt and greyhounds as he traversed the country of Scotland. The scarce 'Red Leather Edition.'
