Introduzione di F.Aliso de St.Ivorio, datata Bologna, 29 luglio 1721, contenente "an account of the causes and manner of the seizure of Signor Gaudentio di Lucca, and the first part of his examination (in a letter from the Secretary of the Inquisition to Signor Rhedi)". Legatura ottocentesca in mz.pergamena e mz.pelle. Tassello con titoli e fregi in oro al dorso. Carte uniformemente brunite. Si tratta della narrazione romanzata di un utopico viaggio nel Regno incontaminato di Mezzorania, nel centro dell'Africa, dove ancora sopravvivevano vestigia dell'antico Egitto. Svariate le attribuzioni, fra cui quelle del vescovo George Berkeley, di Simon Berington e addirittura di Jonathan Swift. Si tratta comunque, sicuramente di opera di autore anglosassone, e non tradotta dall'italiano. Codice libreria 155874.
