No marks or inscriptions to contents. No creasing to covers or to spine. A clean very tight copy with very faintly marked boards, missing front end paper, slightly dusty page edges and no bumping to corners. Fold-out plan at front in excellent condition. Lower edges uncut, upper edges gilt. 345pp. A brief history of the Vatican Palace and an account of the principal works within its walls. Very well illustrated. Scarce.
