Oblong 4to., Thirtieth Edition, with illustrated title and 109 full-page illustrations by the author in the text, front free endpaper creased; original pictorial blue cloth, upper board and backstrip elaborately blocked and lettered in gilt and black, bevelled boards, primrose endpapers, backstrip mildly chafed (without material loss) at head and tail, hinges tender (but binding entirely sound), an unusually bright, clean copy. With personal bookplate and contemporary inscription on front paste-down. UNCOMMON IN THIS CONDITION. Lear's humorous classic was first published in 1862.
