A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked deep lilac cloth boards, light tanning to pages and tiny bump to upper rear corner. Lower page edges untrimmed. 223pp. Eight short stories, two written whilst in a POW camp in 1942 and one play. Some translation from the original Afrikaans.
