Mainly clean lightly tanned pages with missing front end paper and slight rubbing/bumping to maroon boards with clear gilt lettering. 118pp. This treatise on economics was respected and translated into a number of languages in the early 19th century. The author purchased (!) a Parliamentary seat in 1819.
