A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards, minor traces of storage and no bumping to corners. 136pp. Gerald of Wales was a member of one of the leading Norman families involved in the invasion of Ireland in the 12th century. Whilst the Irish don't like the text, they admit it is an important source of what is known of Ireland in the Middle Ages.
