This is a very good hardcover copy bound in the publisher's original embossed browm cloth boards with gilt decorated spine and emblems to both covers. All gilt still bright. All page-edges gilt. Front endpaper apparently missing. Spine starting, but expertly restored. Slight lean. Very clean inside and out. No foxing. 2 folding maps present. Engraved portrait of Robertson and engraved vignette of Pizarro seizing the Inca Atahualpa. This is the abridged edition of Robertson's history first published in 1777. 6" high X 4" wide, 551 pages. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
