Descripción
Signed 'R B Stoker' to title page. No other marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked turquoise cloth boards and no bumping to corners. Dust jacket not price clipped or torn or creased with small mark to front. 156pp. A controversial study in which the author provides his unearthed evidence that Chester was the GHQ and military capital of the Romans in Britain and that Chester became an Archbishopric 400 years before Canterbury and then the capital of Wales. He shows how and why history books have concealed these facts and thus raises King Arthur from a legendary figure to an historical one fighting battles in Lancashire and the North.
