8vo., with coloured frontispiece, title in red and black, and 23 fine coloured plates, neat contemporary inscription on blank preliminary; strongly bound in full red calf BY BUMPUS, boards framed in blind, back with raised bands, second and third compartments lettered in gilt, all other compartments tooled in gilt, gilt edges, gilt doublures, marbled endpapers, ribbon marker, a bright, clean, elegant copy. THE BINDING IS SIGNED ON FRONT PASTE-DOWN. Reissue of the original Ackermann edition of 1817.
