Name/place and minor tape marks to front and rear end papers. Not an ex library book. No other marks or inscriptions. No creasing to covers, faint crease to spine. Very clean very tight pages with slightly tanned/foxed page edges, very slightly marked boards and no bumping to corners. 769pp. A huge work on the anthropology and history of the Zulu people of South Africa over the 400 or so years before Whiteman came. It attempts to record the early life of the Zulu people whilst the information was still available - an achievment which sadly could not be repeated with the other Bantu tribes in Africa, whose early records have been lost.
