Top edge green. = Important contribution to the thermodynamics in meteorology by the now famous founder of the continental drift theory, which he published in the next year. In fact, his theory about the "Entstehung der Kontinente" discredited him as a scientist. Until then he was renowned for "sound" contributions on meteorology, such as this one. Only later he was proven to be right. Small hole in the spine cover, old owner's signature pencilled on the title page, otherwise good, clean. Uncommon.
