Profusely illustrated with wood-engravings and 8 full-page hors-texte engraved plates of flowers, delicately colored by hand and with all the original lettered tissue-guards. One of the great mid-19th century illustrated books. 4to. Original half morocco and pebbled boards, spine in five compartments, beautifully gilt. Light wear to extremities of binding, internally bright and fine. An excellent copy of an elusive book, well-preserved and in its original binding.
