Florist Marcel Wolterinck uses flowers and other flora as canvas and sculptural material in a breathtakingly creative fashion that very much rivals artists working in more 'traditional' media. This volume presents an amazing project by Wolterinck, in which the artist transformed the official residence of the Dutch ambassador in Washington D.C., arranging the 43 varieties of tulips there into magnificent floral creations, in commemoration of the 400th anniversary of the cultivation of the tulip.
