Tre volumi di cm. 27, pp. xxiv, 572; viii, 618; viii, 612. Con 60 belle tavole fuori testo all'acquatinta (ciascuna protetta da velina). Solida leg. ottocentesca in mezza pergamena con punte, dorsi lisci con filetti e titoli in oro. Piccolo stemma impresso al centro dei piatti. Tagli di testa dorati. Minime tracce d'usura alle legatura, ma bell'esemplare, a carte candide, in barbe e stampato su carta di ottima qualità. I primi due volumi sono interamente dedicati alla descrizione di ogni specie animale, il terzo riguarda le piante e i minerali. Veramente splendide le tavole. Edizione originale, cfr. Nissen 4460.
