Incisione in rame, mm 460x515, colorata a mano d'epoca. La carta illustra i territori polacchi a est della Vistola, l'enclave russa di Kalingrad e la Lituania. John Cary (circa 1754-1835) è stato un cartografo e incisore inglese. Iniziò l'attività con "New and correct english atlas". Nel 1808 pubblicò il "New universal atlas" che diventò lo standard per gli atlanti successivi. Ottimo esemplare<BR>Copper engraving, mm 460x515, original color. The map covers a large area from Pomerania eastward to Memel focusing on north-east Poland, Lithuania and the russian territory of Kaliningrad. John Cary (c. 1754-1835) was a London cartographer and globe maker. He began his work with "New and correct english atlas". In 1808 he published the "New universal atlas" which set the standard for all following atlases. Very good condition.<BR>
