Veduta a volo d'uccello della città di Cuzco tratta dalla celebre opera di Giovan Battista Ramusio "Della Navigazione e Viaggi". La veduta è basata su quelle di Braun & Hogenberg. Silografia, in buono stato di conservazione.Pubblicata appena 22 anni dopo la conquista spagnola della città guidata da Pizarro, la xilografia è una delle poche immagini esistenti del periodo di una città Inca intatta. Lo schema stradale regolare e geometrico suggerisce che la città di Inca sia stata costruita in pianura. La sua caratteristica più importante è il complesso palazzo del Tempio a sinistra. Published just 22 years after the Spanish conquest of the city led by Pizarro, the woodcut is one of the few extant images from the Discovery Period of an intact Incan city. The regular, geometric street pattern suggests the Incan city was built according to plan. Its most prominent feature is the temple-palace complex to the left.
